The Roots of Memory theme world showcases the cultural perspective. Here, colours are inspired by memories, traditions and local references. They connect the past with the present and the future. During the development process, we explored how certain shades can evoke collective memories and convey a sense of home. The colour palette in this theme draws on craftsmanship and our cultural heritage to create associations of particular depth and authenticity. Colours become sources of memory, awakening life stories and lines of descent. They reflect the passage of time, refer to the continuity between the old and the new, and establish a connection between diverse origins.
The colours inspired by Roots of Memory reflect memories of natural materials such as stone and clay, as well as earthy textures and gently aged surfaces. This colour world combines tradition with modernity, appearing consistent, sensual and contemporary all at once. This creates an atmosphere that links origin and progress, giving products or rooms an authentic, lasting identity.

NOSTALGIC
Summer memories of a wonderfully creamy strawberry milkshake come to mind as soon as you immerse yourself in Nostalgic. Not only with your imagination, but above all with your eyes. This delicate, almost white rosé tone is characterised by a subtle yellow component, which lends a natural friendliness and familiarity to any room. At the same time, this shade offers excellent opportunities to perfectly combine brightness and cosy warmth.

ECHO
With Echo, we finally arrive at the grey basic tones. When we ‘remember darkly’ and experiences echo ‘from the depths of our subconscious,’ our relationship to this colour world becomes apparent. It is an archaic relationship with a special magic. The cool, dark anthracite of ‘Echo’ absorbs light, but radiates more residual warmth than a true black, making it appear more restrained, accessible and elegant. In a room, it creates a sense of depth and calm seriousness.

HEIRLOOM
For Heirloom, we embark on a fascinating journey to Vietnam, to an ancient village where incense sticks have been produced for centuries. In keeping with ancient tradition, this craft uses a shade of red in the resin mixtures that is a strong, clear medium red. This shade attracts attention due to its determination and intensity. It clears the mind and creates a focus. This red, with its glossy surface, allows effective highlights and accents to be created in any room.
