New Raw Material Processing Facility in Worms Marks a Milestone for Project “Aufbruch”

As part of our forward-looking merger project “Aufbruch”, RENOLIT is actively investing in cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and long-term competitiveness. A visible highlight of this transformation is currently taking shape at our headquarters in Worms: a 56-million-euro investment in a state-of-the-art, automated mixing and raw material processing plant.

What does this mean for your Visual Communication applications?

• Highest Color Precision and Film Quality: Featuring 37 automated weighing stations, the facility enables gram-level dosing of pigments and raw materials. This ensures maximum color consistency and superior surface quality for all your visual applications.
• Sustainable Production Standards: The building is heated by heat pumps. The container mixers utilise a new, low-maintenance drive system that enables more efficient cooling and reduces noise levels during operation. Furthermore, structural measures designed to contain fluids ensure that no products can leak into the environment.
• Supply Reliability and Efficiency: Automated guided transport systems link the new multi-storey mixing plant directly to our film production lines, ensuring smooth logistics, weather-protected material flow, and reliable product availability.

Structural completion of the building is scheduled for December 2026, with full commissioning targeted for June 2027. With this major step under the umbrella of project “Aufbruch”, RENOLIT is paving the way for sustainable, efficient, and future-proof film solutions for your business.
